Tracy Czach Testimonial: "I had the best experience having you as my realtor. you went above and beyond and always helped us when we needed an answer to anything we didn't understand! thank you thank you thank you! I will be recommending your services to anyone and everyone who is looking to purchase a home ! thank you again!" Toby D.
Michele,
You are one lucky person to have Catherine (Kougoures) represent you and your company.
Deb and I have been through this several times and have NEVER been around such a qualified, caring, knowledgeable professional.
Catherine went far and beyond keeping us informed throughout the process.
From the start she got to know us and what we were looking for and guided us and protected us along this huge endeavor.
All I can say is thank you for having such an outstanding professional on your staff.
You should be proud you are so well represented.
Regards

Mike and Debbie B.
Catherine (Kougoures) was an absolute pleasure to work with. She worked extremely hard and turned over many stones for us looking for just the right home to meet our needs, even to the point of bringing contractors along to properties that would need fixing up. Because we were buying a property in Delaware while living several states away, we needed to rely heavily on her remarkable knowledge of the real estate market and negotiating with local sellers. Always willing to go the extra mile for us buyers, Catherine made herself available by phone, text and email at all kinds of crazy hours, and we would recommend her highly as a real estate professional.
"I wanted to take a moment and let you know what a wonderful Realtor you have on your team with Linda. We just closed a very difficult transaction and she was amazing throughout. Not only did she represent her seller in a professional manner but she also was willing to jump in and help the buyer and myself when needed to get the job done. Many other agents would have not worked as hard to get the deal to the settlement table. It’s not often that I get a buyer or seller from Kent or New Castle County but I did tell Linda if and when I do I will certainly refer them to her since I focus on Sussex County. "
Dear Susan, We want to thank you and EXIT Realty for doing such an excellent and speedy job in selling our house on the beach. We wanted the house sold and you delivered! Our sincerest appreciation for a job well done! Linda & Ken

Invigorate Your Space for Summer

Invigorate Your Space for Summer

By  /

When you think of summer, what comes to mind? Perhaps it’s thoughts of sweet, juicy watermelon or the feel of the warm sun and soft grass beneath your feet. The days are brighter and seem full of possibilities. Just as some people decorate their home for various holidays, some have seasonal décor to prepare for the joys of summer. If you’d like to really soak in the summer feels, try a few of these ideas to add a little sunshine to your space:

Warm Welcome: With spring cleaning out of the way, your entryway should be ready for whatever you are. When decorating, this space sets the tone for the home and the style throughout. Try some bright pops of color, such as a sunflower wreath on the door or some hanging potted plants. If you’re someone who’s always on the go, you can also store items like umbrellas, sun hats, and even extra pairs of shoes in a decorative basket or tray so you don’t forget anything in your hustle out the door.

Lighten Up Textiles: Those deep hues and heavy fabrics were gorgeous in the colder months, but now that the sun is out, it’s time for lighter materials and vibrant colors. Try some linen or cotton throws so you can still keep warm on cooler evenings, and maybe add a complimentary pastel or vibrant pillow to keep you and yours comfy all summer long.

Texturize: If you can’t always make it outside, try bringing a little of the outdoors to you! Decorate with natural textures of beautifully woven rattan baskets, jute rugs, or even wicker furniture or headboards to bring a more natural, comfortable feel to your home.

Wall Art: If you love sun-kissed views of the beach but can’t always make it there, or you feel inspired by modern images of fresh fruit, or classic sketches of various plant species, why not dress your home to match your taste and the season?

Indoor Greenery: Bringing plants into the home not only improves air quality, but depending upon the species, it can also be beneficial for your mood. Having greenery indoors imbues your space with nature and can help with relaxation. Certain kinds of ferns are known to be great plants for beginners, as are snake plants and succulents. Click here for a list of other hardy plants for those new to gardening.

Outdoor Living: You’re likely spending more time out on your patio, deck, or veranda than you would any other time of year. If you already have some outdoor furniture, you can update cushions and server ware or add some outdoor lighting like lanterns or string lights for those summer nights. Whether you have a few Adirondack chairs by a fire pit, a hammock nestled in the trees, or a 10-person dining area, it doesn’t matter as long as the space reflects your personality and invites you out to enjoy all that summer has to offer.
